Coaching Programme

Scholars’ Chamber has put forward an intensive training programme for the candidates preparing for CGLE – 2015. The first phase of the programme lasts for about four months, till the date of Tier I Examination. Everyday, four to six hours of classes will be arranged, according to the availability of the members of faculty. Daily two to three subjects of Tier I Examination are dealt with, by different guides.

For the purpose of guidance, each subject is divided into various topics and each topic is discussed comprehensively. Regular assignments are given to the candidates, for their practice, and on each topic certain tests are conducted. These test papers are prepared on the basis of previous examinations of Staff Selection Commission, to ensure that the candidates do not suffer any set-backs due to the fluctuating trends in the actual examination.

Coaching for Tier II Examination will be commenced after the Tier I Examination; and training is available for the first two papers, Quantitative Ability and English Language & Comprehension. In fact, these two subjects have already been dealt with, during the first phase itself. Hence, at this stage importance is given to deeper areas of the topics and practice. About thirty full-length tests will be conducted for the complete acquaintance of the examination. Coaching for Paper III, which is meant for the posts of Statistical Investigators and Compilers, will not be provided, unless sufficient number of candidates request for the same.

For all those candidates who have qualified in Tier II Examination, special training will be given for Interview/Personality Test and certain mock-interviews will be conducted. No training will be given for Computer Proficiency Test, Skill Test or Physical Efficiency Test, meant for the posts concerned; except giving some suggestions for their preparation.

In the first instance, the institute enrolls candidates for Tier I Examination only. They have to be enrolled separately for the remaining phases of the coaching programme.
